Rassul Arin is a research fellow in the Eurasian Research Institute at H.A.Yassawi Kazakh Turkish International University. He is master degree student at Kazakh National University. He is majored at Oriental Studies and, in particular, Japanese studies. He graduated his bachelor degree at Kazakh National University in 2011. Since that he has started gradually to involve into academic community. In 2012 he participated at the several academic courses and events held in Amsterdam University, the Netherlands, and Tsukuba University, Japan. He is the representative of “the new wave” researchers, who has grown and educated in Kazakhstan. He is broadly interested in a set of fields like International Relations, global politics, security, and regional issues, with most focus on East Asia and Central Asia. His latest research topic is about Japanese diplomacy toward Central Asia, where he examines the present issues of Japanese foreign policy in general and also, particularly, toward on the CA region.
