Change and Continuity in the Ethnic Identity of Progress in the Border Regions of Amu Darya

Pursuance of every individual, every community of studying own history and appealing to their origins is an objective process. The specifity of history, its important role is that the history, as a rule, fosters an aspiration to creativeness, exemplifying universal human values and spiritual wealth. Each of us must be well familiar with the history of his ancestry and community and respect others’ history and culture. The memory of the past forms identity, specifying the real-life situation of modern times to a large extent. The regional entity factor is of a great importance in this regard. The ethnic communities in Central Asia have had, largely, common history and culture, and common future as well that depends on creative efforts, integration and deepening collaboration. The point of view stating that the world civilization and world historical cultural heritage is not results of the active efforts of certain ethnic entities having exclusive and unequalled capabilities not observed in all the others is universally accepted. The historical-cultural heritage has no limits and is a panhuman heritage.
